Förderverein Sankt Martin Beuel-Mitte e.V. is a community organization dedicated to preserving and supporting the Sankt Martin tradition in Beuel, Germany. Working with volunteers, participating schools and kindergartens, support services, the Sankt Josef and Paulus parish, the Johannes Nepomuk Beuel church foundation, and the Beuel district administration, the association helps shape the local Martinsfest for children and the wider community.
Its activities include organizing the annual Beuel Martinszug, where children can see Sankt Martin and take part with their handmade lanterns. The association also supports related traditions and events, including the Martinswoche, Martinslose, a Martins reception, songs, and a church service. Its website provides information about the organization, its history, goals, board, events, and past celebrations, as well as details on membership and ways to help.
Community members can support the tradition through an annual membership contribution or by volunteering. The association’s work helps keep the festival of sharing and light alive for future generations. The next large Beuel Martinszug is scheduled for November 5, 2026.
