Kankyo Sanshiro is an environmental organization centered on University of Tokyo students and alumni. It brings people together to explore issues affecting the environment and living organisms, learn about them, and take action. Its guiding approach emphasizes learning and action, offering proposals rather than only criticism, and creating opportunities for exchange and personal growth.

The group’s activities include its Learning Project and Pond Project, alongside other initiatives. Public events have included guided tours of Komaba Pond, giving participants a chance to engage with local nature. Kankyo Sanshiro also shares updates and records of its activities, including an introduction to its work at the University of Tokyo Faculty of Agriculture’s 150th-anniversary ceremony. Its environmental engagement extends to international exchange: members have taken part in a Sino-Japanese environmental exchange meeting with GXSN. Through educational projects, outdoor events, and dialogue, Kankyo Sanshiro offers students and others interested in environmental concerns ways to learn, connect, and contribute.
