Santa Barbara FNL (Friday Night Lights) is a vibrant youth flag football league serving communities across Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, Carpinteria, and Santa Ynez Valley. Dedicated to providing a fun and inclusive sports experience, FNL offers a well-structured program for children in grades K-8, with a focus on not only skills but also teamwork and sportsmanship. The league operates during both the fall and spring seasons, featuring a variety of divisions based on age, ensuring competition that suits each player's level.
With a typical season consisting of eight games plus playoffs, FNL encourages young athletes to engage in healthy competition. Each team plays in a 6-on-6 format, with professional officiating ensuring an organized experience. The league prioritizes fun, making sure every child participates, with awards for top-ranking teams.
Registration for the spring season begins on November 15th, creating an exciting opportunity for kids to form teams with friends. At Santa Barbara FNL, the motto is clear: It's Always About The Kids!
