Santa Claus Quarter Horses is a family-owned and managed horse operation run by Kevin, Julie, Hunter, and Halle Laswell in Santa Claus, Indiana. Based on more than 100 acres in the rolling hills of Southern Indiana, the farm breeds, raises, shows, and sells Quarter Horses for barrel racing and pole bending. Its facilities support horses through different stages of development, from foaling and pasture turnout to young-horse care and training under saddle.
The farm includes dedicated barns, turnout pastures with three-sided shelters, and a 230-by-100-foot enclosed arena. The Laswell family is involved in the horses’ daily care and regularly attends horse shows. In addition to its breeding and horse sales activities, Santa Claus Quarter Horses makes its indoor arena available for barrel and pole horses to ride on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.
