Santa Cruz Fly Fishing

Santa Cruz Fly Fishing Club (SCFF) is a community organization for more than 200 fly-fishing enthusiasts in Santa Cruz County, California. Guided by its mission to promote, educate and enjoy the sport of fly fishing, the club brings members together to fish, build their knowledge and skills, and support conservation and education. SCFF reports donating approximately $30,000 to local and statewide conservation efforts and about $10,000 to local high school scholarships for students pursuing college studies focused on environmental degrees over the past decade.

The club offers members educational opportunities, programs, group fish outings and other activities. Its calendar features fishing trips and events, while regular fly-tying classes help members develop practical skills. Online resources include fly-tying videos, knot-tying information, leader formulas for mono rigs, surf-fishing guidance, information about O’Neill Forebay, and central coastal steelhead regulations. SCFF also shares a newsletter, hosts club and board meetings, and provides a members-only section.
