Santa Fe Community Foundation

The Santa Fe Community Foundation is a nonprofit community foundation dedicated to improving the health and vitality of northern New Mexico. Since 1981, it has connected donors with opportunities to give, funded local nonprofits, and worked with community partners to strengthen the region. The Foundation offers charitable investment and grantmaking services, including ways to establish a fund, support an existing effort, or give alongside others. It also provides nonprofits with funding opportunities, learning resources, and tailored support through its Learning Hub.

Its priorities include community leadership, Native American communities, LGBTQ+ equity, Black philanthropy, education, and early childhood development. Through these initiatives, the Foundation seeks to address regional needs and improve quality of life. It reports more than $160 million in grants, 480 charitable funds, and support for over 3,000 organizations. The Foundation also shares community news, events, job listings, and resources through its Bulletin, and recognizes nonprofit contributions through the annual Piñon Awards.
