Santa Monica Striking is a martial arts gym based at 316 Pico Boulevard in Santa Monica, California. It describes itself as Santa Monica’s first authentic Muay Thai gym and welcomes children, adults, beginners, and experienced fighters in a safe, supportive, ego-free community. Its programs include youth Muay Thai for ages 7–14, adult Muay Thai for ages 15 and older, boxing, kickboxing, and fitness training.
The gym also offers No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, led by Professor Felix, whose credentials include a black belt from 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu and a NAGA Los Angeles championship. Women can attend a dedicated Muay Thai class on Fridays, and private one-on-one coaching is available for students seeking focused instruction. The coaching team includes head coach Lance Dixon, an active professional fighter and titleholder, and Dean Perry, an experienced competitor in the United States and Thailand.
