Santé Bigoudene

Santé Bigoudène is a community health association based in Penmarc’h, in Finistère, France. Serving Penmarc’h, Le Guilvinec, Treffiagat, Léchiagat and Plomeur for more than 30 years, it works to provide local care and support residents’ wellbeing. The association brings together three main services. Its nursing care centre provides nearby healthcare, including primary care, delivered mainly in patients’ homes and without accommodation. Its health promotion service helps residents take an active role in their own health through workshops and activities. For older adults, a health activity programme supports physical activity and independence, with guidance from attentive sports instructors.

Santé Bigoudène also offers community activities and events, including workshops for people affected by illness and painting sessions led by association members. It shares practical resources such as activity schedules, programme information and an introductory brochure. Residents can book appointments online, contact the association by phone or email, or visit its Penmarc’h premises. The association also welcomes people interested in becoming active members and contributing to its work.
