About Santuario de Auco
Santuario de Auco is the official site of the Teresa de Los Andes Sanctuary in Chile, where the remains of Juanita Fernández Solar, the first Chilean saint, rest. It is a place of veneration to the Virgin of Carmen. The sanctuary offers a range of products and services for visitors.
It provides a serene and beautiful setting to contemplate the valley's beauty, with a Via Crucis for reconciliation with Jesus through its 12 stations. The Santa Teresa Crypt serves as a meeting place for prayer and reflection. The sanctuary also offers various pastoral programs, including religious communities, such as the Carmelite Mothers and the OCD Fathers.
Additionally, there is a youth pilgrimage and a walking tour for visitors. Visitors can explore places of interest, such as the crypt, the Teresita Museum, and the Museum of Faith. The sanctuary also has a chapel, a retreat house, and green areas.
