We pro-actively solve South Africa’s land reform challenges in a practical, merit-based and honest manner that supports economic growth, job creation, food security, custodianship and social harmony. PALS is the acronym for Partners in Agri Land Solutions, a private land reform and development initiative. It was established as Witzenberg PALS (NPC) in Ceres in 2015 by farmers in partnership with local communities and all three spheres of Government. The key objective is to create an enabling environment to implement innovative land reform and inclusive agricultural growth that supports social harmony. The PALS objectives are in line with the Constitution and National Development Plan.

About PALS
PALS (Partners in Agri Land Solutions) is a private sector initiative that aims to foster collaboration between farmers and the community. The initiative was originally launched in 2015 in Ceres and has since expanded nationwide, with multiple PALS enterprises implemented in different areas and plans for PALS centers in each province and region. What sets PALS apart is its unique framework, built on strong business principles, solid legal structures, mentorship, and training for emerging black farmers to become successful commercial farmers.
The PALS centers serve as one-stop shops, providing support, coordinating training, mentorship, and sustainability efforts for new enterprises. The initiative's central pillars include economic growth, job creation, and social harmony. PALS strives to establish successful black farmers, involve the entire community, expand to other areas and agricultural industries, and serve as a local land desk.
