Sapphire Coast Outrigger Canoe Club is a community outrigger paddling club formed in 2021 and based in Pambula on the Far South Coast of New South Wales. It welcomes people of all abilities and experience, from beginners to elite paddlers, and offers both social paddling and competitive or training sessions. The club aims to make the sport enjoyable and inclusive, while helping members develop their skills with support from a qualified coach.

Paddling sessions take place at several scenic locations. At Pambula River mouth, members can explore sheltered river waters or venture across the bar into Merimbula Bay. The club also regularly paddles at Mogareeka Inlet near Tathra and occasionally in Twofold Bay, south of Eden. Alongside fitness and time outdoors, the club emphasizes safety, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and the wellbeing of its junior members. It also seeks to introduce more people to outrigger paddling and its history, culture, and traditions, while fostering social connections and supporting members’ physical and mental wellbeing.
