Sapphire Ridge Equestrian is an independent equestrian business based at Flintridge Riding Club, serving riders and horses through hunter, jumper, and equitation training. Founded more than 20 years ago by Nancy Frost, the program is grounded in education, safety, strong fundamentals, and its guiding principle, “Excellence in Horsemanship.” Frost brings over 30 years of experience as a professional, judge, and course designer, alongside a background competing in hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions.
Sapphire Ridge offers private and semi-private lessons six days a week, individual lessons for riders not in training, and training for horses of all ages. Its instructors welcome beginners and experienced riders, whether or not they plan to compete. The program also develops young horses and ponies, and supports clients who lease or own their mounts. For competitors, Sapphire Ridge provides show participation and coaching; Frost is also available for clinics, judging, and course design. The business has helped produce successful riders and horses, including year-end award winners and medal finals champions.
