SwimSafer is a swimming and water-safety programme designed to help people of all ages and abilities develop confidence and essential skills in and around water. Its approach combines swimming skill development with water safety education and personal water survival, recognizing that knowing how to swim is an important life skill as well as a physical activity. The programme provides structured lessons that guide participants through different stages, with progression based on readiness and the skills being taught.

Its information resources address common questions about eligibility, lesson structure, instructor certification, the skills covered, and how long it may take to complete the programme. The Swim CAMS website supports access to the programme through registration and sign-in options, as well as a dedicated MOE school login. It also offers a frequently asked questions section for participants and families seeking guidance on the learning journey.

Overall, SwimSafer focuses on helping learners become more capable swimmers while building the knowledge and survival skills needed to behave safely in, on, and around water
