About SAR
The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) has been inspiring American patriotism since 1889. As a non-profit, non-partisan organization, SAR is dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and teaching it to future generations. With a mission to honor and remember the sacrifices made during the American Revolution, SAR offers an array of products, services, and educational programs.

SAR also plans to establish a future Education Center and Museum, providing an immersive experience for those seeking to deepen their knowledge of American history.

Knight Essay Contest, and the Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest. They also provide genealogy research services and resources, as well as a Revolutionary War Tax Research program.
