Saracens Wheelchair Rugby

Saracens Wheelchair Rugby Club (SWRC) is a wheelchair sports club serving people with physical disabilities in Hertfordshire and North London. Established in response to the need for a structured, sustainable club in the area, it represents a new direction for Saracens and the Saracens Foundation, whose core statement is to inspire communities and change lives through sport. SWRC provides competitive and recreational wheelchair rugby opportunities, welcoming players with a wide range of abilities and experience.

Members train most Saturdays from 1 to 4 p. m. at Birchwood Leisure Centre in Hatfield, where they develop rugby skills, fitness and teamwork while supporting and coaching one another.

The club also fosters a community built around inclusion, camaraderie and shared participation, helping members build confidence, independence and a sense of belonging. Prospective players can find information about joining, while supporters can learn how to contribute.
