Sarasota Archery Academy, operated by Sarasota Archery Inc, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit competitive youth archery team founded in 2024. Serving athletes ages six and up, the organization offers two programs: USA Archery X-Ring, focused on indoor and outdoor target archery, and ASA 3D Upper 12’s, which combines 3D archery training with tournament competition. Four volunteer USA Archery-certified coaches—two Level 3 National Training System coaches and two Level 2 coaches—support athlete development.
Since its founding, the team has recorded 100 podium finishes across 14 USA Archery and ASA 3D events. The academy charges no program fees. A June 2026 fire destroyed its practice range, so group training in both programs is paused.
Athletes continue training individually, while tournament travel is being planned separately. The academy is seeking donated land or an affordable indoor facility in Sarasota or Manatee County, ideally with at least 100 by 40 feet of space, to restore team practice. It also welcomes support for travel, equipment, and athlete costs
