Sarooma is a room-acoustics software provider and consulting partner with more than 20 years of experience supporting acoustic planners, architects, facility managers, and manufacturers. Its tools help users plan projects efficiently, from straightforward room assessments to professional design work. Sarooma offers a WebApp, a standalone MobileApp, and a DesktopApp for professional planners.
The WebApp and MobileApp can use a manufacturer’s product range, while the DesktopApp provides access to a cross-manufacturer database containing more than 3,700 absorber variants from over 30 manufacturers. Calculations estimate reverberation times using W. C.
Sabine’s diffuse-field theory, across octave bands from 125 Hz to 4,000 Hz, and support planning based on 12 standards and guidelines. Sarooma also advises on acoustic projects and product development, measures product absorption and room reverberation times, and provides training in software use and acoustic fundamentals. Manufacturers can arrange standards-compliant product measurements, documented in reports, and request inclusion of product data in Sarooma’s database.
Its software supports clear project reporting, including customized Word or PDF documents
