Saskalta Waterfowl Outfitters

North Star Outfitting, also identified as Saskalta Waterfowl Outfitters, provides professionally guided hunting experiences in Alberta, Canada. Its waterfowl hunts take place in Eastern Alberta near Lloydminster, along the North Saskatchewan River and the Alberta–Saskatchewan border. The region’s river corridor, farmland, and seasonal migrations attract ducks and geese, creating opportunities to hunt Canada geese, snow geese, white-fronted geese, mallards, pintails, and sandhill cranes.

Waterfowl packages typically run for three to four days, with groups of six to eight hunters. The outfitter emphasizes small-group hunts and uses local spotters who coordinate with landowners to locate birds and arrange access to hunting areas. The company also offers guided hunts for black bear, elk, whitetail and mule deer, and moose, with more than 30 years of experience attributed to guide Neil Johnson. In the off-season, Northern Lights Pembina River Lodge is available as an Airbnb retreat for guests seeking outdoor recreation or a place to unwind. North Star Outfitting assists visitors with planning their hunting trips.
