Sataomaishoitajat

Satakunnan Omaishoitajat ry is a regional association in Finland supporting family caregivers, people who help loved ones, and anyone interested in caregiving. Its activities are open to everyone, regardless of whether they receive formal caregiver support or belong to the association. The organization offers information, peer support, events, and practical guidance for caregivers at different life stages, including working-age adults, older people, and young caregivers.

Activities include group meetings, online sessions, recreational outings, exercise, and training such as Ovet-valmennus®. Trained volunteer OmaisYstävät can also provide companionship and support in everyday situations, meeting in person or remotely. The association promotes well-being through initiatives such as a culture pass for people facing challenging circumstances, offering access to selected cultural venues and events.
