Satellite Jiujitsu

Satellite Jiujitsu is a martial arts school in Satellite Beach, Florida, founded in 2010. The school specializes in traditional Japanese jiujitsu and offers training for teens and adults of all skill levels, alongside classes for young children. Its curriculum brings together stand-up techniques, grappling, and takedowns, giving students opportunities to develop skills across multiple aspects of jiujitsu and self-defense.

Classes cover striking and fight cardio, including punching, kicking, and defensive techniques, as well as traditional grips, throws, and grappling. Training is available in both gi and no-gi formats. Advanced and open mat sessions let students refine techniques and explore skills beyond regular weekly practice. The school also offers a women’s self-defense class focused on practical ways to defend, escape, and protect oneself in a welcoming environment. Children’s classes for ages three to seven use age-appropriate activities to build balance, coordination, and defensive movement. Satellite Jiujitsu holds evening and weekend classes at its dojo on South Patrick Drive in the Lori Lane Plaza.
