SATELLITETRACKINGEU

Satellite Tracking is a brand focused on gathering and displaying the results of bird satellite tracking projects in the Central and Southeastern European region. Their website, SATELLITETRACKING. EU, serves as a unified database for these projects.

Users can access summarized data on birds in the database, sort and filter information, and view background details by clicking on specific values. The website also allows for the spatial representation of bird routes on a map. Users can select up to 10 bird routes to display at once and switch to a Google Maps-based view for further exploration.

Additional features include showing/hiding individual birds, playing the movement of selected birds, and navigating the map with familiar Google Maps functions. Satellite Tracking's work is supported by the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society, the European Union LIFE Program, and the European Regional Development Fund.
