Sattelservice

Volker Kollosche Sattelservice provides saddle fitting and related advice for horses and riders. Founded by Volker Kollosche, the service is grounded in his experience as a rider, instructor and saddle fitter, along with training as a horse ergonomics specialist and further education in the saddlery trade. His approach treats a saddle as more than a piece of leather: it is an important connection between horse and rider and should be correctly fitted, with adjustments made as the horse changes.

Appointments include consideration of the whole partnership, including the horse, rider and riding style. Kollosche aims to identify practical changes that can improve fit and comfort, drawing on technical knowledge, hands-on experience and attention to detail. The service is intended for both leisure and competition horses. The website provides information about services and prices, a preparation checklist, and saddle colour options in Premium, Classic and Summer ranges. With decades of involvement in riding, horse training and instruction, Kollosche brings a rider’s perspective to saddle fitting and emphasises careful, thoughtful work for the benefit of horses.
