Sattlerei Classen is an independent leatherworking and saddlery business run by Katharina Classen in Windeck-Dattenfeld, in Germany’s Rhein-Sieg district. Combining a passion for horses with skilled craftsmanship, the workshop creates made-to-measure leather goods for people, animals and motorcycles. Each project is shaped around the customer’s needs, with attention to fit, function, quality materials and careful workmanship.
Services include custom saddles, saddle fitting adjustments and cleaning, as well as handmade bridles, halters, belts, collars and other leather accessories. The workshop also makes bespoke motorcycle seats and takes on special leatherwork projects. Customers can discuss individual requirements and arrange appointments directly with Katharina; opening hours are by appointment.
Sattlerei Classen emphasizes personal advice and one-of-a-kind pieces rather than off-the-shelf products. Its work serves clients in Windeck and the surrounding area, including Eitorf, Hennef, Siegburg and Cologne. The business also offers leather and horse-care products through its shop, alongside its custom services and gallery of completed work.
