of Saturday Golf League

Saturday Golf League (SGL) is a nonprofit 501(c)(7) organization and social club serving golfers in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area. It organizes weekly tournaments throughout the year at golf courses across the Valley of the Sun, offering members competitive play and opportunities to experience a wide range of courses. The league welcomes players of all skill levels who enjoy competition and playing at varied, top-ranked and affordable venues; more than 100 different courses have hosted league play over the past five years.

SGL membership includes access to scheduled tournaments and participation resources. Tournament play follows USGA rules, and the league is a member of the Arizona Golf Association and participates in the World Handicap System. The website provides signup information, tournament schedules and status, results, player statistics, and details about the hole-in-one pool. Members and visitors can also browse newsletters and videos featuring past tournament play. SGL offers a referral promotion in which qualifying new members and their sponsoring members receive a $25 credit after the new player completes five qualifying rounds and establishes an SGL handicap index.
