Travis Hunter, a first-year Colorado defensive back and receiver, responded to Dan Lanning's comments about Colorado leaving the Pac-12 for the Big 12 with grace and determination. Lanning, the head coach of Oregon, questioned the impact of Colorado's departure on the Pac-12 conference, stating that he didn't remember them winning anything. In response, Hunter expressed respect for Lanning and acknowledged that Colorado still had a lot to prove.

He emphasized that the team is determined to make a statement and prove the doubters wrong. Under the leadership of head coach Deion Sanders, the Buffs have undergone significant changes, including a major influx of talent from the transfer portal. With high hopes for the new season, the team believes it can win right away.

Hunter himself has set his sights on the Heisman Trophy. Their journey begins with a game against No. 17 TCU.

Stay tuned to see how Colorado fares this season
