Frenchy Sauce, also known as La Sauce d’Exister, offers one-to-one online French language support for English-speaking researchers in philosophy and the humanities. Founded by Alice Camille, a state-certified philosophy teacher at a French lycée, the programme helps researchers engage directly with French thinkers, understand nuances that translations may flatten, and express their own ideas in French-speaking academic settings.

Rather than offering conventional language classes, translation services or coaching, Frenchy Sauce works as a sparring partnership. Sessions use participants’ own texts and research interests, reading French line by line and developing grammar in context. Learners practise making and defending their points in writing and conversation, from seminar discussions to less formal exchanges.

The programme offers Deep In and All In options over three or six months, at the same price. Alice brings academic experience, including studies at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and preparation for the CAPES at Sorbonne Université, as well as a personal connection to spoken French and everyday French culture.
