Saunton Golf Club, established in May 1897, boasts a rich history spanning over a century. Situated in Braunton, Devon, this distinguished venue originally featured a 9-hole course which expanded to an 18-hole championship layout by 1908. Renowned golf course architect Herbert Fowler transformed its natural links landscape, solidifying Saunton's reputation as a premier golfing destination.
The club has hosted numerous prestigious events, including the British Ladies’ Championship, and features two exceptional courses: the East Course, frequently listed among the world's Top 100, and the West Course, renowned for its quality and challenge. Saunton Golf Club offers memberships, competitive championships, professional lessons, and a Junior Academy, all catering to a diverse range of golfers. In addition to golfing facilities, the club provides a comfortable clubhouse with catering services and options for visitors.
Both courses continue to evolve while preserving the unique character of this historic golf venue. Experience the legacy and challenge that Saunton Golf Club has to offer today
