Magyar Francia-box Savate Szövetség

The Magyar Francia-box Savate Szövetség, or Hungarian French-Box Savate Federation, promotes Savate, a French martial art and combat sport that developed in France in the early nineteenth century. The federation’s website introduces the sport, explains its history in France and Hungary, and provides information for people interested in trying a first training session. It also features Canne de Combat, a related discipline, and highlights the clubs associated with the federation, including Rimár Savate Team and UBC Savate.

The organization shares news, event information and competition reports, covering tournaments in Hungary and abroad. Its updates include the Budapest Savate Open, European and world championships, cups and other Savate events, alongside results and accounts of athletes’ performances. Visitors can consult the event calendar, watch videos and find documents, regulations and competition rules. The site also provides contact details and information about the federation’s activities. Through its educational resources, club directory and coverage of competitions, the federation helps connect Savate practitioners and introduces the French martial art to a Hungarian audience.
