Save Ukraine e. V. is a nonprofit, non-governmental organization founded by internationally engaged people to provide humanitarian assistance and broader support to Ukraine and its population.

Its work focuses exclusively on helping civilians and local communities. The organization purchases and collects urgently needed supplies in Europe and elsewhere, then arranges transport to Ukraine. Requested items include food, baby supplies, hygiene products, generators, batteries, sleeping equipment, protective clothing, first-aid materials and medical supplies.

Working with the European Union, Ukrainian representatives and authorities, Save Ukraine coordinates deliveries and seeks to ensure aid reaches the appropriate institutions and people. The association also transports relief goods from North Rhine-Westphalia to Ukraine. For people displaced by the war, it helps find free temporary accommodation and longer-term rentals, and provides local guidance with administrative appointments and medical visits, including interpreting support.

In Essen, it manages a Telegram group where Ukrainian refugees can seek advice on a range of topics. Save Ukraine invites the public to support its humanitarian work through donations
