SaveAFox Rescue is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in central Minnesota, devoted to rescuing domestic foxes and other captive-born exotics. Founded in 2017 by Mikayla Raines, who has over a decade of experience with foxes, SaveAFox addresses the urgent need for safe havens for these animals, many of whom come from fur farms, surrender situations, or were seized due to illegal ownership. The organization has successfully rescued about 150 foxes, ensuring they receive the necessary veterinary care, spaying/neutering, and socialization for a fulfilling life in knowledgeable forever homes.

In addition to rescue operations, SaveAFox offers various services, including adoption opportunities, educational resources on fox care, and virtual tours that engage the public in their mission. Their commitment to ethical wildlife care, highlighted by their mission statement, To rescue and provide forever homes for captive-born, non-releasable wildlife, illustrates their passion for these unique animals and their dedication to responsible animal stewardship
