About Save Bees and Farmers ECI
Save Bees and Farmers is an alliance comprising over 140 environmental NGOs, farmer and beekeeper organizations, charitable foundations, and scientific institutions working together throughout the EU. The alliance aims to reconcile agriculture, health, and biodiversity by opposing pesticides and intensive farming practices that harm biodiversity and livelihoods. Inspired by citizen movements across the EU, the alliance was initiated by civil society organizations focusing on agriculture, health, and environmental protection.
Their vision is to transform the EU into a region where agriculture promotes well-being through employment, health, and biodiversity recovery. The alliance advocates for small-scale farms that produce healthy food while preserving nature, supporting rural areas and communities. The initiative has been officially submitted to the European Commission by seven citizens, each with a unique expertise in agriculture, health, and environmental issues.
