SAVIOLI

Savioli is a historical fencing association based in the Karlovy Vary region of the Czech Republic. Its members share an interest in history, fencing, military life, and historical weapons, and seek to learn about the past through practical experience. The association focuses on three historical periods, acquiring costumes, weapons, armour, and other equipment to support its activities.

Savioli organizes training for members, including instruction in historical martial arts, and provides the practical and organizational support needed for their work. The group also performs publicly at historical festivals, battle reenactments, castle events, and other occasions. Its performances are designed to entertain and inform audiences while offering a glimpse of how people in the past lived, fought, celebrated, and dressed. Members also arrange visits to notable places and exhibitions, and invite guest instructors to share their knowledge.

Savioli welcomes prospective members aged over 18 who are physically and mentally fit and bring interest, perseverance, and discipline. Interested people can attend a training session to meet the group and discuss joining.
