Savvas Pottery, established in 1976 in Paphos, Cyprus, is a family-owned business founded by Savvas Georgiades and his son Panicos. With a rich tradition rooted in the pottery craft, Savvas started his journey in Kyrenia as an esteemed potter and later moved to Paphos due to the 1974 war. Today, Savvas Pottery is celebrated for its exceptional handmade and hand-painted ceramics, boasting a unique process where the only pottery workshop on the island develops its own colors and glazes.
The workshop offers a diverse range of collections, including Classic Grapes, Greek Mythology, and Contemporary designs inspired by nature and culture. Savvas Pottery prioritizes quality, using lead-free glazes for kitchenware and sourcing materials that meet European and International safety standards. With annual production reaching 120 tons, every piece reflects traditional craftsmanship combined with modern techniques, making it a treasure of Cypriot art that resonates with history while catering to contemporary tastes.
