Saxon Archery is a small New Zealand father-and-son business focused on making traditional archery approachable. The family-run team offers advice and customer service to help people explore the sport, whether they are new to archery or already enthusiastic traditional bow users. Its range includes longbows, traditional flatbows, horsebows and youth bows, alongside modern bows.
Horsebow styles include Scythian, Hun, Mongolian, Native American, Turkish and Crimean designs, as well as LARP bows. Customers can also find arrows, quivers and a selection of archery accessories, including arm and finger protection, knives and arrowheads, targets, bowstrings and wax, and DIY archery items. Leather quivers are individually made, with unique designs sometimes available.
Saxon Archery provides bow care and safety information, including guidance on stringing a new bow, and welcomes international customers. The business can ship to most parts of the world and invites overseas buyers to request a personalised shipping quote. Its aim is to pair traditional archery equipment with helpful, approachable support
