SAYCO is a non-profit collective management society for copyright with the main objective of collecting and distributing the author's patrimonial rights. This involves affiliation, as well as reciprocal representation contracts with sister societies, to manage the public communication and/or reproduction of musical, literary, theatrical, audiovisual, fine arts, photographic, and applied art works owned by their national and foreign clients. The society operates within the legal framework and upholds the highest standards of protection for intellectual property rights.

SAYCO provides a wide range of services, including the management of author rights, social programs, distribution of rights, declarations of works, and the regulation of unidentified works. They also handle licensing, tariffs, and digital systems.

In addition, SAYCO offers relevant content such as news, reports, and information about the management of copyright, and recognizes the work and trajectory of Colombian composers.
