They have been actively involved in advocating for changes in clinical care and support, and their efforts have resulted in the historic launch of the Pregnancy Loss Review in England. This review, co-chaired by Zoe Clark-Coates MBE BCAh, global CEO of Team@SG, and Samantha Collinge RM, a Lead Bereavement Midwife, has led to seventy-three vital recommendations.
The government has accepted all the recommendations, and implementation will be supported by Team@SG. Team@SG also champions the introduction of an official government-issued 'Certificate of Life' for anyone who experiences a pre-24-week loss. They have been working with Baroness Floella Benjamin DBE for the past seven years on this initiative and have a Bill in the House of Lords to see it introduced.
