SAZAS Society k.o. is a Slovenian collective management authors' society for the protection and promotion of musical authors' rights. SAZAS connects authors' creativeness with publics - music users, collects royalties for the public use of music within the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, and distributes the collected royalties to authors or right holders. It is a not for profit organisation since its establishment in February, 1993. It is a full member of CISAC since 1996, a global International confederation of authors' and composers societies and BIEM - International organisation representing mechanical rights societies since 2003.
