Stichting Brilliant Future Kids

Stichting Brilliant Future Kids (SBFK) is an autism and talent-development centre in Amsterdam for young people aged 12 to 23 who have not found a suitable place in mainstream or special education. It provides a safe, small-scale setting for young people who may be unable to attend school, with individual support shaped around their interests, abilities and support needs. SBFK is a care provider rather than a school: its team offers guidance, not therapy, and focuses on helping young people develop without pressure to perform or earn qualifications.

The centre’s specialised daytime programme combines social-emotional development with practical, creative and technical skills. Participants can explore game and app design, graphic design, industrial design, virtual reality, 3D design, music, film, animation and editing. Facilities include an ArtLab, computer workstations with a 3D printer, music and film studios, a kitchen, and spaces for sport and practice. Professionals lead workshops and support individual or collaborative projects, including, where appropriate, assignments from businesses.
