SBK BASE is an outdoor adventure and BASE jumping operator based in Lysebotn, at the foot of the Lysefjord in Norway’s Ryfylke region. The company serves visitors exploring the area’s hiking destinations and fjord landscape, with a range of transport, activity and rental services. Its Kjerag shuttle bus and fjord boat taxi provide access to popular local destinations, while motorboat rentals and Lysefjorden tours offer ways to experience the water.
SBK BASE also runs seasonal BASE jumping operations on site, weather permitting, and offers First Jump Courses (FJC) and refresher courses for jumpers. Guests can unwind in the company’s wood-fired sauna beside the fjord, and gear rentals are available for visitors. Each June, Lysebotn hosts Heliboogie, bringing together members of the BASE jumping community; the next event is planned for 2027, with dates to be announced.
SBK BASE is operated by SBK BASE AS. The business notes that it is closed for the 2026 season and welcomes visitors back in 2027
