Santa Barbara Skinny Pigs is a small, passion-led guinea pig breeding and care venture focused on skinny pigs and Baldwin guinea pigs. Its herd includes animals in a range of coats and colors, and babies are sometimes available for families seeking these distinctive pets. The site introduces visitors to the breed, shares information on care and breeding, and offers guidance to help new owners provide a good home and build bonds between guinea pigs. Customer stories describe the animals as affectionate companions and reflect the support owners received from the breeder.

The business says it keeps and breeds its animals to help improve the breed and place them as family pets, while noting that care costs exceed income from adoption fees. Supporters can help through its Amazon storefront, which features guinea pig essentials, accessories, and related items; purchases through the shop generate a small amount of income for the venture. Santa Barbara Skinny Pigs also offers a guinea pig photo book through Amazon Kindle, with proceeds helping support its animals.
