Santa Barbara Winery, located in Santa Barbara, CA, is a renowned brand that has been producing exceptional wines since 1962. Founded by Pierre Lafond, the winery quickly gained recognition as the first post-prohibition commercial winery in Santa Barbara County. Situated just two blocks from the Pacific Ocean on Anacapa Street, the winery benefits from the unique coastal climate that contributes to the creation of their award-winning Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, and Syrahs.
Initially a wine and cheese shop, Lafond's passion for fine wines led him to expand into wine production, and the success of Santa Barbara Winery is a testament to his expertise. The brand has received numerous medals for their impressive selection of wines, and they take pride in sharing their award-winning favorites with wine enthusiasts across the country. Visitors can experience Santa Barbara Winery's exceptional wines by visiting their tasting room, conveniently open daily from 12 pm to 6 pm.
