SC Barsinghausen

SC Barsinghausen is a family-oriented swimming club that has brought people of all ages together in the water since 1951. Based in Barsinghausen, the club offers opportunities ranging from learning essential swimming skills to training for competitive events, with activities held in a 25-metre pool. Its programme includes swimming courses for children and adults, introductory groups for young swimmers, hobby and talent groups, and advanced training for experienced swimmers and masters.

Members can explore the different training groups, check practice times and events, and find information about joining the club. Prospective swimmers may arrange a trial session in advance. SC Barsinghausen also supports competitive swimming through its connection with the SGS Barsinghausen, whose athletes take part in meets at regional, state and national levels.

The club shares training updates, competition results and team news through social media, and reports on its activities through local press coverage. Its calendar highlights club events, including the annual Stadtpokal swimming competition, while a club shop and affiliated support association offer additional ways to engage with the organisation
