The Sporting Club Avermes Tennis (SCAT) is a community tennis club based in Avermes, near Moulins in France’s Allier department. Founded in 1978 and located at Stade des Isles, it welcomes both recreational players and competitors, with around 150 members, equally divided between young people and adults. The club’s facilities include four outdoor tennis courts—two porous-concrete courts and two artificial-clay courts—as well as two beach tennis courts, a spacious clubhouse, and a practice wall.

SCAT offers tennis instruction during the week, led by a state-certified instructor, alongside a tennis school for young players supported by additional coaches. The club provides membership and pricing information and accepts registrations throughout the year. Members can take part in team championships, youth competitions, internal events, and tournaments, including summer opens and beach tennis events. SCAT also shares club news, match results, schedules, and tournament updates, helping members stay connected with its sporting and social activities. With organized coaching and competitive opportunities, the club serves players across a range of ages and levels.
