Familie Scabell is a family-history and genealogy website maintained by Helga Scabell, created to document and share the family’s past. Tracing a story that reaches from France through Mannheim and Magdeburg to Brazil and beyond, the site focuses on the Scabell family’s Huguenot and Calvinist heritage, migration, and relationships across generations. Its historical account follows family members from the seventeenth century onward, including the journeys of descendants who settled in Brazil and the later reunion of relatives separated for decades.

Visitors can explore family trees, surnames, stories, dates and places, as well as photographs, documents, letters, family notices, gravestones, coats of arms, and other genealogical media. Search tools and indexes help users find people, families, locations, and records. The site also provides links to related family and genealogy resources and invites researchers to contribute information, documents, or media. Collected data may be used by fellow researchers with proper source attribution; information about living people is kept in a private area for data protection.
