Scacchi-Online.eu is an Italian-language online chess community and browser-based chess server where players can enjoy free games without downloading software. Visitors can play as guests or create a free account, competing against other chess players or computer opponents. The platform supports standard chess, with rules aligned as closely as possible with FIDE Laws of Chess, as well as Chess960.

Registered members receive additional features: their games are rated, their playing strength is reflected in a score used for rankings, and they can filter other players’ game offers by strength, time control, and playing mode. Players can also invite friends or other chess enthusiasts to a match, create online tournaments, and choose opponents through the available game listings. Guests can join games without registering or having a username.

Scacchi-Online.eu presents itself as a community for casual and competitive play, welcoming both anonymous visitors and registered players. Its stated aim is to expand the chess server, and it encourages users to recommend the site to friends, acquaintances, and chess clubs.
