Scale-Box

Scale-Box LLC is a Rockport-based maker of handcrafted, made-to-order PVC reptile enclosures and breeder racks. The company serves snake, lizard, and other reptile keepers seeking custom sizes, layouts, and features beyond standard cages. Customers can browse the online store or contact Scale-Box for a quote based on their preferred specifications, with the aim of creating a habitat where reptiles can thrive.

Scale-Box offers custom PVC enclosures, racks, and related options such as lighting, heating, shelves, hide boxes, viewing windows, interior floor heat, back-wall features, stands, and perches. Enclosures are built to buyers’ requested dimensions. Racks use Vision tubs and are constructed from solid 1/2-inch PVC, designed to support humidity. Heating options include recessed belly heat, back heat, heat tape, under-tank heating pads, and radiant heat panels; thermostat options are also available. Rack venting varies by model, with routed shelf vents on specified sub-adult and adult racks, while hatchling and combination racks do not use shelf venting. Scale-Box invites customers to discuss additional ideas and custom requirements.
