Scallad

Scallad is a chemical research laboratory that supports businesses and scientific institutions with analytical testing, method development, training, and consultancy. Combining an experienced team of scientists with modern laboratory technologies, the company works to deliver precise, reliable, and repeatable results that can inform technical and business decisions.

Its services include elemental analysis, primarily using ICP-OES, as well as testing of metals and other sample types, from raw materials to finished products and specialist materials. Scallad undertakes both standard analyses and non-standard projects, developing methods from the ground up and tailoring testing to each client’s sample and objectives. The laboratory also supports industrial and research-and-development projects, offers chemical advice and helps optimize analytical processes. Training is available for companies and specialist teams.

Scallad’s laboratory previously held PCA accreditation from 2017 to 2025. That accreditation is currently suspended while the company develops its services. Analyses are performed in accordance with ISO 17025 requirements and applicable quality procedures.
