The South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA) is a professional organization representing public education leaders across South Carolina. With more than 5,500 members, it serves assistant principals, principals, district leaders, superintendents, retired school leaders, and college of education deans. SCASA supports collaboration and professional growth through 33 roundtable groups, which meet throughout the year to share insights, discuss emerging issues, receive updates, and exchange practices among school districts.
Its Seminar Series offers in-depth discussions and resources on topics relevant to school leaders, while the Center for Executive Education Leadership (CEEL) provides research-informed development and support. CEEL programming helps participants build leadership skills for their current roles and prepare for greater responsibilities. SCASA also advocates for public education at the State House, using a full-time lobbying team to monitor legislative debate, provide testimony, and communicate with legislators.
