Founded in 1996 by seven Schafkopf enthusiasts, Schafkopf-Club Bayern e.V. is a Bavarian association dedicated to the traditional card game. The club has grown to nearly 200 members, while its annual membership fee remains €60. It brings players together through regular tournaments, league play and major championship events, and shares information on tournament rules, schedules and participation.

The club’s calendar features a range of competitions, from shorter, multi-round events to full-day tournaments with substantial prize pools. It also organizes and promotes the Bavarian, German and World Championships, alongside the Schafkopfliga and special events. Tournament notices include dates, venues, entry fees and prize details, helping players plan and take part.

Beyond competition, Schafkopf-Club Bayern provides club updates and information through its website and social media channels. Its online shop offers branded apparel, including T-shirts, polo shirts and jackets, as well as other items. Through its tournaments, league activities, championship information and merchandise, the association supports an active community of Schafkopf players in Bavaria and beyond.
