It all began in an apartment in Vancouver back in 2000 when the idea to make scented pencils was born.

However, adding scents to wooden pencils proved challenging. So, we developed pencils made from recycled newspapers, and in 2001, the product started to take shape. We initially supplied these innovative Smencils to schools for fundraising purposes, helping them raise millions of dollars for various needs.

Over the years, we have expanded our product range beyond pencils to include pens, markers, crayons, sketch pads, stickers, toys, pillows, educational products, and stuffed animals. We have even collaborated with renowned companies like Disney, Marvel, and Universal to merge their beloved characters with our creative and innovative offerings.
